I woke up this morning and felt a deep sense of gratitude. My wonderful little kitty who came into my life one year ago on May 14th was my inspiration. I like to get up early in the morning and she is always behind the curtains sitting on windowsill watching the sun come up.
Anyways I was thinking wow “the first time I came to TN I had wished I would have been able to bring my cat Sofie”. Now this would not have been fair. Sofie was very used to farm life and living in an apartment was not going to be good for her. But the dream stayed there, and it came to fruition.
I was also thinking of other things that came to fruition in my life. Now I always knew they could come to physical reality but focused more on where I was at and being successful in the present instead of living in the future. I had dreamed of certain scenarios that would get me there but was not attached to any one path. I realized today what some of my coaches were saying on attraction and manifesting; there is this faith that it will come to physical reality. Almost like knowing without seeing which is exactly what faith is. Put gratitude with faith and that is an amazing combination.
I am experiencing what you could call 2 steps forward and 1 step back and I really was loving the 2 steps forward in my health and personal relationships. This has been frustrating for me and I didn’t understand why it got so rough and what I did to attract it (actually if I am being honest I know what it was, old thought patterns that were not serving me). It brings to light the importance of my favorite movie quote “Why do we fall? So we can learn to pick ourselves up”. My falling was to build new pathways.
Around the 2 steps forward 1 step back idea, I was talking with a friend and she said one of her mentors said “you finish the race a lot quicker stumbling rather than walking.” I personally thought this was brilliant even though sometimes it doesn’t look pretty or put together you are getting to the goal a lot faster. Stumbling is a lot closer to running than walking; the momentum you have that causes you to stumble eventually smooths out and you can go fast and smooth.
